Raidtec Solutions product line now in compliance with EU directive and completed programme acceptance for Microsoft WHQL...

Plasmon, market leader in professional data storage solutions, today announced its Raidtec Solutions product line is now RoHS compliant in line with the European Union (EU) directive 2002/95/EC. Further to the compliance of its UDO® (Ultra Density Optical) products announced in April 2006, the adaptation of current Raidtec CS3102, FS3102, S4-400 and S12-400 products, and soon to be released FX4000 demonstrates Plasmon¹s continued commitment to this environmentally focussed directive.

As further testimony to its campaign for standardisation, Plasmon can also
announce its CS3102 Ultra 320 SCSI to SATA RAID system and FS3102 2Gb Fibre
to SATA RAID system have successfully completed Microsoft WHQL (Windows
Hardware Quality Labs) testing. This Microsoft programme tests third-party
products for compatibility with Windows operating systems. Products meeting
the WHQL requirements are listed on the Microsoft Windows Server Catalog at
