A-Server launches first Certified Reseller Program for Innovative Backup and Data Recovery Appliance and Managed Services

200+ UK partners offered better margins, training courses, cash back and Market Development Funds as part of new three tier certification program

London, England, March 2nd, 2010 - A-Server, a provider of managed services for IT resellers, and a global specialist in data backup products and business continuity services for SMBs, has launched a new Certified Partner Reseller Program for channel partners’ reselling its business continuity services to Small and Medium Businesses. This partner program is available to all 350 registered channel partners across Europe including around 200 in the UK as of this month.

The key benefits of the Certified Partner Reseller Program include a scaling discount rate based on certification level, access to free products and serious marketing development funds. The program tiers include “Gold” and “Platinum” levels and are managed directly by senior account managers at A-Server.

“Over the last year, we have built a sizable community of channel partners across Europe and now it’s time to increase our commitment to helping them grow their installed customer base,” explains Arvid Fossen, Director of Product Management and Marketing for A-Server, “At a time when small and medium businesses are especially concerned about operating expenses, our range of backup and data recovery with a strong portfolio of managed services allows channel partners to approach clients with a fixed cost alternative to uncertain IT related expenses.” Fossen adds.

Through single tier distribution, A-Server provides channel partners with a complete white label appliance and managed service aimed at helping small and medium sized businesses protect valuable data and servers. The A-Server Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) appliance is available in incremental blocks of 2TB and uses Instant Virtualization Technology to recover data faster than traditional drive rebuilds. A Server also offer a bare metal restore with overnight shipping of a restored-from-last-backup BDR appliance in the event of a major disaster that renders a customer’s site un-useable such as fire, earthquake or flooding.

To compliment its BDR offering, A-Server offers a range of managed services through partners including comprehensive hosted environment with tools for desktop management, server and network monitoring, an Advanced Scripting engine, a reporting engine and a ticketing system. In partnership with Zenith Infotech, over the last 4 years, over 15,000+ disaster recovery sites are now under management at its Network Operation Centre (NOC) offering 24x7 support for over 4,000 partners across the globe.

A-Server will also be running 50 open house events at cities across the UK starting from March to organise informal face to face meetings with its channel partners to demonstrate new products and services as well as discuss potential joint marketing and lead generation activities.
